Sub-Electronics Engineer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Sub-Electronics Engineer to assist in the development, testing, installation, and maintenance of our field-deployable electronic devices. The candidate will work closely with the core engineering team to bring innovative solutions to life and ensure reliable performance in real-world conditions.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the assembly, wiring, and testing of electronic circuits and embedded systems
Support installation and troubleshooting of devices in the field (including rural areas)
Maintain documentation for components, circuits, and device performance
Collaborate with hardware and software teams for integration and debugging
Manage inventory of electronic components and tools
Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of deployed systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field
Basic knowledge of microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, etc.) and sensor integration
Hands-on experience in soldering, PCB handling, and circuit debugging
Understanding of solar-powered systems and battery management is a plus
Willingness to travel to field locations when required
Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently or in a small team
